Here's a re-telling of the Nativity story from the point of view of someone who could have been present (but is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible).   Benjie, a small boy who wants more than anything to be a shepherd, is ridiculed and rejected by the other shepherds.  Sent away from the flock, he happens upon Joseph and Mary, is treated with kindess and respect, and is first to enter the stable and greet the baby Jesus.   Through the experience he learns that everyone is important to God.  Six songs.
